IGNOU is a leading institution founded by Parliament in 1985 to promote open education in India and globally. The IGNOU Act gives the University a unique mandate to provide inclusive and equitable higher education

Please note that the deadline for submission of applications is October 31st, 2024, with the exception of certificate and semester-based programs.

Please only enroll in an online program if you have a computer/laptop/internet and are comfortable learning online. Online Program students receive no printed study materials

Fill Application Form

Program Selection:

  • Visit the “Available Program” tab on the homepage.
  • Choose your desired program and read details like eligibility, fees, and duration.
  • Download and review the Common Prospectus for university rules.

New Registration:

  • Click “NEW REGISTRATION” in the applicant login area.
  • Provide your email and mobile number during registration.
  • Create a username (8-16 characters) and a password (alphanumeric, 8-16 characters).
  • Submit the form; your username will be sent via email and SMS.

Login:

  • Existing users can log in directly by clicking “LOGIN.”

Document Requirements (Scan originals):

  • Photograph (less than 100 KB).
  • Signature (less than 100 KB).
  • Educational Certificates (less than 200 KB).
  • Experience Certificate (if any, less than 200 KB).
  • Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC, if applicable, less than 200 KB).

Payment Methods:

  • Credit Card (Master/Visa).
  • Debit Card (Master/Visa/Rupay).
  • Net Banking.

Form Submission:

  • Upload documents and review the form in the preview section.
  • Save or print the form for future reference.

Important Notes:

  • Double-check details if filling the form at a cybercafé.
  • Ensure documents are uploaded as per the prescribed guidelines.

     Fee Refund and Cancellation Policy  

    1. Registration Fee: Non-refundable.
    2. Before Admission Confirmation: Full fee refund available.
    3. After Admission Confirmation:
    - 15% of the program fee (up to ₹2,000) will be deducted.
    4. Soft Copy Study Material: Fee refund after deducting the Registration Fee only.
    5. Fee Exemption Cases: If only Registration and Development fees are paid, only the Development Fee will be refunded.
    6. After 60 Days of Admission Closure: No fee refund is allowed.
